The Purpose of the Academy is to create an environment where young aspiring hockey players and young people are equipped with sport specific skills to enhance personal ability which can be applied to their daily lives
Off Ice Academy provides structured off-ice training designed to support the physical and personal development of young athletes. Our sessions combine athletic conditioning, coordination training, and non-contact combat movement in a safe and focused environment. Whether participants are competitive hockey players or simply looking to build confidence through sport, every session is built around progression, discipline, and enjoyment of training.

Qualified Sports Coach, Athlete and Founder
I began playing Ice Hockey at 6 years of age, I played for 6 years and fell in love with the sport. I then went on to play semi professional football and competed in athletic competitions before discovering martial arts.
I started with boxing and progressing through judo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, freestyle wrestling, and mixed martial arts.
In 2024, I placed 2nd at the English National Freestyle Wrestling Championships (U20) and later represented England at the IMMAF World Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Alongside competing, I previously volunteered coaching junior hockey players at the same rink where I grew up training.
Off Ice Academy brings together my experiences across multiple sports to help young athletes build confidence, coordination, and physical development in a structured and supportive environment.

I was once a youth hockey player, and I knew there were certain things that I once desired but just did not have access to or didn't have the knowledge or resources to access. which is why i'm passionate at exposing light to a grey area that the youth might be in.

I hope that the unique path of events that i've experienced will inspire young people and young hockey players to learn more skills and to never limit themselves
